Until the game is out, we will not know what support will be included. You’ll quickly find out why lack of communication works wonders and why titles like World of Wacraft (virtually any MMORPG nowadays, bar FFXIV) fail spectacularly with public engagement. I implore you people to do a little research into how Public Relations tactics works so you can understand the little intricacies that go into the development of games. We don’t know what their plans are, furthermore if we knew something about a feature that they suddenly had to do pull a 160 on and remove it, most of the people here, twitch, twitter, reddit etc would be salty. Much less anything related to something as integral as modding. They’re not obligated nor required to tell us a single thing about the development process of their game.
Inb4 being called a called out for “blindly” supporting them but… What mods do you know that wont work in D2R? The only mod that I can think of that might work is GoMule, but besides that… what “mod support” is Blizzard talking about? Because at this rate, it’s looking like Blizzard will not be supporting the modding community at all.
